MetalForm and Fab Inc. has over 25 years of sheet metal manufacturing experience.  We offer an array of services from engineering and design, to complete assemblies.  We are central Kentucky's leader in "Quick lead-time" metal fabrication and specialize in small to medium lot quantities.  We work in mild steel, aluminum, and stainless.

Equipment And Capabilities

MetalForm and Fab has a full assortment of state of the art metalworking tools and machines including:

Two c.n.c. lasers with up to 1/2" mild steel cutting capacity.  These machines are very accurate and hold repeatability of under 4 thousandths of an inch. These machines have very little setup so they are perfect for prototyping small to medium part runs.

We also have two c.n.c. turret punch press' with 56 tool stations and 30 ton capacity. These machines has great repeatability and speeds up the production time on larger runs.

For bending, we use only c.n.c. press brakes for accuracy.  We have an 8 axis machine with 220 ton forming capacity, and two, 2 axis machines at 125 and 55 ton.

We also have rolls, ironworkers and a c.n.c. band saw to complete almost any project.

MetalForm and Fab offers complete weld services. We have the latest in equipment and keep our welders trained in the latest technologies working with the Lexington chapter of the American Welding Society.

We also offer outside services such as powder coating, plating and heat treating. We work with several vendors for each process. Through our combined manufacturing experience we pick which vendor is suited for each particular product. This allows us to deliver completed parts to our customers.
